San Sebastian Spain

San Sebastian was our first taste of Spain and its beaches. Murray found a shop selling red wine for 85 cents and he also splashed out and bought one for 2.65 Euros (and he loved it!). We also had a laugh as their was a no smoking sign in our room but it was sitting in an ash tray. Smoking is everywhere in Spain and France and so many young ones..........

We walked right around the whole of the beach to climb to the top of the highest points to view the area below. We swam and lay on the beaches.

We enjoyed a drink in one of the most picturesque spots. It was a tiny cafe made out of an old gun shelter and found by winding your way through some bush and steps. We took the fatincia and then climbed to the top of an old tower which is now a museum where you can see the whole of San Sebastian.

Everyday we wonder how anything can surpass what we have just experienced but somehow it does.
